A good disguise 2010-07-07
Super heroes have a long history of hiding their identity, usually will pretty full face masks. The other day I ran across this image of a retired comic "The Fighting Yank".

I am wondering why a darkening around the characters eyes is supposed to hide his identity when the complete rest of his face is clearly visible.
I suppose the hat might make more of a shadow but at the end of the day picking this guy out of a line up would be a piece of cake, especially with the tight white shirt and strange riding pants.

It is actually kind of hard to focus on that when he is in the process of hitting a man who is carrying a toddler in his arms, therefore most likely causing the man to drop the baby.

In summation, the Fighting yank is not the man I want showing up when I am in need of assistance.

Eric:Yeah, well, I wouldn't let this fag anywhere near my children. This one either. Jesus Christ, how many nearly identical superheroes does your country need?
